Orchid bog declared ecological reserve

The CBC reported today that 820 hectares in Manitoba has been declared an ecological reserve, and will be known as Brokenhead Wetland Ecological Reserve. "28 of the province's 36 native orchid species and eight insect-eating plants" grow in this bog.
